In the Dead of Night is a visual exploration of Public Green Spaces at night. Public Green Space is undeveloped land designed to make a positive visual and environmental contribution to the town as well as helping us stay physically and mentally well. These spaces are also aimed to enhance the beauty and environmental quality of neighbourhoods. However, although this is true for in the daytime at night the spaces change from what they were designed for, to often deserted, dark and eerie spaces. This series questions the idea and purpose of Public Green Spaces around the town of Cheltenham. The photographs are taken looking out from within the boundary of the Public Green Space showing the area that surrounds them.
